My Story

Hey All!

My Cattleman and I
 April 2011
My name is Aly, and I'm a lover of all things beautiful. Not just clothes and jewelry, but cattle, food, children, scenery, sunsets, mountains... etc you get the point. I've always been a dreamer, but unlike most, mine become reality. Because I make it happen. One of my favorite quotes is by Calamity Jane, she said, "If a girl want's to be a legend she ought to go ahead and be one." I believe in that whole heartily, if you want something you better get to dustin' your boots off and get to getting, no on else is going to do it for you. That is why some people lovingly refer to me as Tornado Aly, because I blow in with a wind of confidence and take charge of any situation that falls in my path, I will not be stopped, I will not be controlled, I will be a legend.

That being said, I make my living currently as a Risk Manager at a very large cattle feeding operation, that is until the day I conquer the world. I grew up on a grain crops farm in the Buckeye state, as well as raised Angus and Shorthorn cattle for show and beef. I <3 BEEF.

I want to be a recognized women in the Cattle Industry for revolutionary ideas, supreme wit and undying professionalism. I want to let the whole world know that farming and ranching are not bad or evil things, 98% are family owned and operated for Pete's sake. Also, that without us you couldn't survive! Don't believe me? Just preform some due-diligence research or ask me to point you in the right direction for answers, I will be more than happy to assist you in anyway possible.

Just to warn you ahead of time...
  1. I can't spell but am working on the grammar, constructive criticism welcome
  2. Totes, Def, Adorbs and Obv are all legitimate words in my dictionary. Spoken and written.
  3. I am completely random, but it's part of my charm
  4. I have to remind cattleman on the daily that he did in fact fall in love with me at one point in time, for some reason or another
  5. I process information quickly. Too quickly. Then forget what we were talking about entirely
  6. I have not finished school but am sincerely working to accomplish this goal. It's a toss up between the Wild Cat's and Cowboy's. I would prefer to have Buckeye on that paper but my current location won't permit that.
  7. I wish I were a photographer but, alas, I am not. So please don't judge my amateur art
  8. I can't bake, my bread comes out like a rock but, I can however whip up some pretty mean potatoes
  9. I love my life exactly as it is, exactly where I am and with exactly whom I share it even though I am always looking to improve myself and friendships
  10. I love Jesus Christ our Lord more than anything. He came to this world and died for me and I can't think of a greater display of love and affection than that!
